These two simple Valentine activities attracted him: Heart Tube Stamping from Housing A Forest, which is also a favorite of mine and Valentine Stick Dolly Gifts from At Home with Ali - he really liked counting how many dolly sticks there were and pointing out all of the hearts.
The rest of his picks were all about trucks and trains:
- Little Blue Truck Preschool Activities from Crayon Freckles - I especially liked the early reading/literacy activities she shared.
- Valentine Freight for Wooden Trains from Play Trains - This could also have a learning component with counting and color sorting the hearts.
- Alternatives to Dirt Digging by Adventures at Home with Mum
- Garbage Truck Preschool Activities also from Crayon Freckles - Again she shared many great learning ideas. This is a post I recently featured this week on my latest Ten for Tuesday Things That Go! post (all about Emergency Services Vehicles and Community Helpers)
I also wanted to share the cardboard hearts we made after seeing these hearts from Taming the Goblin linked up last week and featuring them in our recycled art and crafts round-up.
